Sitting Pretty Holiday Home – Croyde, Devon
A spacious and modern holiday home only a short walk from the famous Croyde beach with views to the surrounding hills.
Built in 2000, Sitting Pretty sleeps 6-8 and is found on the delightful Leadengates Field site, in a cul-de-sac of holiday homes built originally as wooden cabins by a local landowner. In the middle of the cul-de-sac is a green with grass and shrubs. There is a footpath to the famous Croyde beach a short distance away.
The home has three bedrooms and an open plan kitchen-diner and lounge. The kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher,washing machine,fridge freezer and cooker. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people. La Grande Terche has 34km of skiing entering three different valleys, and has 14 lifts directly accessible from the village which offers slopes suitable for families and beginners – away from the rush of some of the more crowded main resort slopes. For the more experienced or adventurous skier the resorts of Morzine-Avoriaz is 15 minutes drive away as is the Ardent lift both of which offer quick access to over 650km of linked skiing in the Portes du Soleil.
La Grande Terche has several restaurants which offer a variety of local and international cuisine, bars, ski-hire shops, mini market and ski-schools. St Jean d’Aulps is five minutes down the valley and offers further shops, restaurants, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, banks and tourist office. An excellent well-stocked ‘Champion’ supermarket, is also only 5 minutes away.
La Grande Terche is just over an hours drive from Geneva making it one of the most accessible from the UK.
