It boasts a beautiful coastline, some lovely countryside and a wealth of picturesque villages, as well as numerous tourist attractions to suit all ages and tastes. It’s perfect for a relaxing short break or a two-week holiday.

Dorset borders four other counties, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Devon and Somerset, and is easily accessible from many other areas of the UK, as well as many UK airports and ports.

It’s a perfect location for a self-catering holiday, as there are many properties available to rent for the duration of your vacation. There is a variety of cottages, apartments and chalets throughout the county available to suit all tastes.

Away from the Dorset coast you will find a great deal of places to visit, such as Wimborne Minster, Blandford Forum, Sherborne, Ferndown, Bridport, Shaftesbury, among others. All have a wide range of attractions and activities for tourists.

Once on the beach, there are water activities which can range from simple tanning, sailing, fishing, and yes even surfing. Newquay is the surfing capital of Britain.
